A little farm enterprise

The word farm is loosely used to describe what we have going here. It may be a bit more aspirational than realistic at the moment in terms of what we produce.

But with my recent involvement in the Co-op, I've been able to start selling our lovely fresh eggs.

They come in various sizes and colours, as we have three older girls and three young ones. At the moment only three of the six are laying and as we use quite a lot of eggs ourselves, it's not exactly a huge business.

But it's a start.

Yesterday was Cal's 12th birthday. Amazing.

We celebrated with dinner at the local Italian restaurant and he was very pleased with his presents and chats on Skype to family overseas.

Now we are preparing for his Nerf War birthday party on Saturday.

Should be interesting . . .
